1.What kind of documents are required and what are the general requirements for renting a car ?
MGF Rent a Car require that a valid driving licence has been held at least 2 year and valid identity card/passport. For any vehicle rented the minimum age is 22 years old. In case of business rentals, company registration documents and official stamp are required.
2.Can anyone else other than myself drive the rented car ?
Only drivers mentioned in the annexes of rental agreement are allowed to drive a car rented from MGF RENT A CAR.
3.Does MGF RENT A CAR allow additional drivers ?
Yes, you may add an additional driver onto your car rental agreement. This must be done at the time of booking/renting. The additional driver must present the same documents as main driver and fulfill the same general requirements of age and driving experience.
4.How much does it cost to add an additional driver ?
MGF RENT A CAR offers the possibility to add an additional driver at no extra cost. For more than one additional driver, the daily cost is 3.6 €.
5.Is there a delivery service at MGF RENT A CAR ?
Yes, MGF RENT A CAR provide delivery & collect services. For Bucharest city, Bucharest Baneasa International Airport and Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport this service is FREE of charge.
6.May the rented vehicle be driven out of Romania ?
To travel abroad with a car rented from MGF RENT A CAR, the client must specify this when booking the car. MGF RENT A CAR will issue a special authorization for border. Clients can not pass the border without this special authorization, they will be stopped at Romanian custom. Depending on the rental period and the category of car rented, the rental price may differ from regular price on website.
7.What if I have a problem with the car ?
If you should have the misfortune to suffer a breakdown or an accident you should immediately contact MGF RENT A CAR renting office at one of the phone numbers written on the documents received when you picked-up the car.
8.What does the insurance include ?
Rental rates include the liability and CASCO insurances against damages and robbery (CDW & THW) with responsibility. If denying the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), in case of any damages on or the loss of the rented car or parts of it, the breakage of the glass or in case of theft, the renter is liable for total cost of reparation.
9.If the rented car has CDW and THW insurance am I covered for any loss that may arise ?
No, there are exceptions for damages which are not covered by any insurance. Such cases are single damages to the lower part of the vehicle, wheels and tires. Also not covered are damages due to driving on an improper road surface, towing another vehicle, transfer of explosives, rallying etc.
10.Can I tow with a rented car from MGF RENT A CAR ?
No. Towing is a violation of the rental agreement and is not permitted under any circumstances.
